Amundi in Europe is seeking a Head of Project Management & PMO to lead the project delivery function within Alto Wealth & Distribution Professional Services. You will manage a team of 10 Project Managers and 2 PMO professionals to ensure delivery excellence across strategic initiatives.

Your role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on ownership, overseeing governance, portfolio transparency, delivery standards and continuous improvement, empowered by modern tooling and AI in everyday work.

Qualifikationen

• 11+ years of experience in project or program management in financial services or IT.
• Strong leadership experience with complex project portfolios and delivery projects.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and drive delivery excellence.

Aufgaben

• Lead and evolve the project delivery function with a team of PMs and PMO professionals.
• Own the full project portfolio lifecycle from scoping to closure.
• Define and evolve governance, delivery standards, methodologies, and quality assurance.
• Ensure effective resource and capacity planning across the PM function.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and act as escalation point for delivery topics.
• Drive continuous improvement and smart use of AI and modern delivery tooling.

Your role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight and hands‑on ownership where it matters most. From governance and portfolio transparency to delivery standards and continuous improvement, you will shape how successful project delivery looks in practice - supported by modern tooling and AI in everyday work.

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of 10 Project Managers and 2 PMO professionals is at the heart of your role

Required skills

A strong understanding of wealth management processes, trade lifecycle, data flows and middle‑office operations helps you navigate complex delivery environments with confidence

You know how to work with senior stakeholders and bring hands‑on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence

Clear communication, strategic thinking and a hands‑on, ownership‑driven mindset set you apart
