Amundi in Europe, Germany is seeking a Head of Project Management (f/m/d) to lead and evolve the PMO function within Alto Wealth & Distribution Professional Services. You will manage a team of 10 Project Managers and 2 PMO professionals, ensuring delivery of large-scale implementations with reliability, efficiency and high quality.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on ownership, covering governance, portfolio transparency, delivery standards and continuous improvement,

Qualifikationen

• 11 years or more of PM/Program management experience.
• Solid leadership track record managing complex portfolios and large implementation projects.
• Experience in financial services, wealth or asset management, and IT.

Aufgaben

• Lead and evolve the project delivery function with a team of 10 PMs and 2 PMO.
• Own full project portfolio lifecycle from scoping to closure.
• Take hands-on ownership of our largest, most strategic implementation projects.
• Define and evolve project governance, delivery standards, methodologies and quality assurance.
• Ensure effective resource and capacity planning across the project management function.
• Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders; act as escalation point for delivery topics.
• Keep risks, issues, dependencies and change requests under control across projects and portfolio.
• Ensure PMO outputs, reporting and tools create clarity and better decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement, modern delivery practices and use of AI in project tooling.

Your role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight and hands‑on ownership where it matters most. From governance and portfolio transparency to delivery standards and continuous improvement, you will shape how successful project delivery looks in practice — supported by modern tooling and AI in everyday work.

Bringing 10+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in financial services, wealth or asset management, and IT, makes you a great fit for this role.

Solid leadership experience and a proven track record in managing complex project portfolios and implementation projects are part of your profile.

Required skills

A strong understanding of wealth management processes, trade lifecycle, data flows and middle‑office operations helps you navigate complex delivery environments with confidence.

You know how to work with senior stakeholders and bring hands‑on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Clear communication, strategic thinking and a hands‑on, ownership‑driven mindset set you apart.
