Amundi, a leading European asset manager, seeks a Head of Project Management (f/m/d) to lead the PMO and project delivery function within Alto Wealth & Distribution Professional Services. You will manage a team of 10 PMs and 2 PMO professionals, ensuring flawless delivery across the portfolio.

You will own governance, reporting, and continuous improvement, applying modern delivery practices and AI tooling to elevate outcomes for high-impact projects in a complex financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or related field.
• Strong understanding of wealth management processes and trade lifecycle.
• Experience leading large project portfolios in financial services.

Responsabilités

• Lead and evolve the project delivery function with a team of project managers and PMO professionals.
• Oversee the full project portfolio lifecycle from scoping to closure.
• Ensure governance, transparency, and delivery quality across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement, modern delivery practices, and AI-enabled tooling.
• Manage risks, dependencies and changes at portfolio level.
• Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on delivery for largest strategic projects.

• You own the full project portfolio lifecycle — from scoping and planning to delivery, reporting and closure


• Taking hands‑on ownership of our largest, most strategic and most critical implementation projects is part of your day‑to‑day business


• Defining and evolving project governance, delivery standards, methodologies and quality assurance is one of your key responsibilities


• You ensure effective resource and capacity planning across the project management function


• Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and acting as the first escalation point for delivery topics is essential in this role


• You keep risks, issues, dependencies and change requests under control — across projects and at portfolio level


• Making sure PMO outputs, reporting and tools create clarity, consistency and better decisions is a core part of your responsibility


• Driving continuous improvement, modern delivery practices and the smart use of AI and project tooling completes your area of ownership

Bringing 10+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in financial services, wealth or asset management, and IT, makes you a great fit for this role. Solid leadership experience and a proven track record in managing complex project portfolios and implementation projects are part of your profile.

Required skills

A strong understanding of wealth management processes, trade lifecycle, data flows and middle‑office operations helps you navigate complex delivery environments with confidence. You know how to work with senior stakeholders and bring hands‑on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Clear communication, strategic thinking and a hands‑on, ownership‑driven mindset set you apart.
