Your Mission:

In this role, you will make a real impact by shaping how lemon.markets builds a secure, resilient and compliant infrastructure at the heart of our business. You will be a key player in one of the most innovative and challenging missions in German and European FinTech, helping us balance our greenfield approach with enterprise‑grade governance standards. Reporting directly to our MD Front Office, Markus, you will ensure that we can scale fast and safely, while earning the trust of our partners, customers and regulators.

Your Role:

• Act as our first‑line competence centre, driving all matters around BCM, IT security, GDPR and other outsourcing topics with partners, providers and within the lemon.markets group.
• Oversee our tech governance, including the tech‑written order and control frameworks, monitor and quality‑assess controls at execution level, and help lemon.markets continuously improve in this area, for example by obtaining enterprise certificates like ISO 27001 and others.
• Oversee the duties of the first line of defense outsourcing manager for the relationship between our regulated entity, lemon.markets brokerage GmbH, and lemon.markets Holding for Tech.
• Own the duties of the first line of defense outsourcing manager for People Management, Company Service, Marketing and Sales.
• Further enhance and sharpen our Partner Governance framework from a regulatory point of view.
• Support contract negotiations with B2B partners as a subject‑matter expert.
• Oversee and coordinate our process landscape, ensuring clarity, consistency and compliance across the organization.

You will be successful in this role if:

• Have 8+ years of experience in Technology and IT Security, with a proven track record in leadership and operational management in a regulated environment. Experience in FinTech is a great advantage.
• Have a strong understanding of technology, its risks and processes, and bring excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across various departments.
• Have experience working in the financial industry, particularly in leveraging technology standards, frameworks, compliance, and industry‑recognized best practices.
• Have demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution in the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of regulation.
• Familiar with supporting, coordinating and/or outsourcing functions in the Front Office MD area, such as People Management, Company Service, Marketing and Sales.
• Communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders up to C‑level, in both German and English (C1+).
