comstruct is seeking an ambitious Engineering Leader to shape the future of our autonomous AI‑driven platform in Munich. You will redesign the engineering org, coach managers, and build a recruiting engine to attract A‑players as we scale beyond 10 engineers.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, drive architecture decisions, and set rhythms for performance and mentorship. Fluent German and English are required, and you will own initiatives to 10x the value of our platform.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
• Led engineering teams of 10+ people, including managers or leads.
• Architectural and system design expertise with hands-on sparring partner mindset.
• Experience building or scaling a technical recruiting engine.

• Structured and calm under ambiguity, able to design an org from scratch.

What we are looking for:

• You have 6+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful time in high‑growth startups or scale‑ups
• You have led engineering teams of 10+ people, ideally managing managers or leads, not just individual contributors
• You are technical enough to be a real sparring partner in architecture and system design conversations, not a distant people manager
• You have built or scaled a technical recruiting engine before and know how to raise the hiring bar
• You are AI‑first and use modern AI‑assisted engineering workflows yourself
• You are structured and calm under ambiguity, and can design an org from scratch rather than just running an existing one
• Full professional proficiency in German and English
