As Head of Accounting, you will play a key role in shaping the financial integrity of our Central Region operations. You’ll lead a dedicated team across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, and collaborate closely with our global accounting colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence.

• Lead and develop the regional accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance.
• Own the full accounting scope for the Central Region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
• Drive financial closings by overseeing monthly and annual reporting processes, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Optimize and implement processes by maintaining a clear overview of all regional business transactions and integrating global initiatives locally.
• Ensure compliance and control by upholding internal control frameworks and corporate compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degrees in a financial study or equal accounting education (z.B. Bilanzbuchhalter)
• At least five years of professional experience in an international company within Accounting, expert in the German accounting principles (Abschluss nach HGB)
• Experience as a leader with good communications skills
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications and SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in consolidation and group reporting
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and quickly be able to identify accounting problems and propose solutions
• Advanced knowledge in company taxes
