Kubermatic is seeking a GTM Engineer to own our HubSpot stack and build automation on top of HubSpot, GA4, and related tools. This remote role focuses on data quality, routing, and AI-enabled workflows to streamline marketing and sales processes.
You will work hands-on daily, setting up properties, pipelines, and dashboards, ensuring data flows are reliable and scalable across multi-cloud environments. A builder mindset is essential for success.
Location: Remote CET ±4h Team: Marketing

As one of the top corporate contributors to the Kubernetes Project, we develop enterprise‑grade software solutions and provide professional services and support to safely navigate and accelerate your cloud native transformation. But if you are thrilled by the prospect of joining a technology start-up with a lot of room for your own ideas and personal growth, we definitely should at least have a chat.
HubSpot is our main CRM and the place where all our marketing, sales and event data comes together. We're looking for a GTM Engineer who owns that system and builds on top of it: how our tools are set up, how data flows between them, whether our tracking tells us what's working, and how we turn that data into automated workflows that help sales and marketing reach the right people at the right time. The role combines two jobs. The RevOps part keeps our revenue process clean and predictable: lifecycle stages, routing, data quality, attribution and reporting. The GTM engineering part builds new systems with automation, APIs and AI: enrichment, signal‑based follow‑ups and workflows that replace manual work. You'll work hands‑on in the tools every day: this is a builder role, not a campaign‑execution role.
First 30 days: You know our HubSpot portal inside out: properties, pipelines, workflows, forms, integrations and users. You've mapped how our tools connect today, where data breaks or goes missing, and which manual GTM tasks cost the team the most time.
First 60 days: You've fixed the most critical gaps: key integrations run reliably, lifecycle stages, lead sources and routing rules are defined consistently, and GA4/HubSpot tracking is verified end‑to‑end for our main conversion points. Your first automation that removes manual work for sales or marketing is live.
First 90 days: You own our GTM stack. There's a documented data model and integration map, a clean‑up routine for the database, a working enrichment and lead‑prioritisation flow, and dashboards the marketing and sales teams trust and use.
HubSpot ownership: Administer and configure our HubSpot portal: properties, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, pipelines, forms, lists, user permissions and settings. Keep HubSpot the single source of truth for customer and contact data.
Revenue process & routing: Define and maintain lifecycle stages, lead status, lead routing and the handoff between marketing and sales, including SLAs and clear ownership at each stage.
Integrations & data flow: Set up, connect and maintain the tools around HubSpot (e.g. Make, Luma, Pretix, Google Analytics, website forms) so that data syncs correctly and nothing gets lost between systems.
GTM automation: Build workflows that turn signals into action: enrichment of new contacts and accounts, scoring and prioritisation, event follow‑ups, and alerts that give sales the context to reach out at the right time.
AI‑assisted workflows: Use LLMs, APIs and scripts to automate research, enrichment and data clean‑up that is done by hand today, and document how each workflow works so the team can rely on it.
Tracking & attribution: Implement and maintain tracking across website, campaigns and events (GA4, HubSpot tracking code, UTM conventions, conversion events), and make sure every touchpoint is attributed correctly in HubSpot.
Data quality: Own database hygiene: deduplication, property standards, segmentation, consent/opt‑in status (GDPR) and regular clean‑ups.
Reporting & pipeline visibility: Build HubSpot and GA4 dashboards that show campaign, event and pipeline performance from first touch to closed deal, and help the team read and act on them.
Enablement & documentation: Document setups, naming conventions and processes, and support marketing, sales and event colleagues in using HubSpot and our automations correctly.
Hands‑on experience administering HubSpot (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub and CRM): properties, workflows, lifecycle stages, pipelines, lists, forms and reporting. You've built automations and integrations yourself, with Make, n8n, Zapier or native integrations, and you're comfortable working with APIs, webhooks and JSON.
Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript or similar: enough to call an API, transform data or write a custom code step in a workflow.
Practical experience with web and campaign…
