Zusammenfassung

CROWDCONSULTANTS is seeking a Ground Segment Systems Engineer to contribute to engineering, integration, verification and validation of satellite ground systems for Earth Observation missions. You will help define and maintain system and ground segment requirements with end-to-end traceability, and contribute to system architecture and interface definitions.

The role requires hands-on IV&V activities, MBSE experience, and knowledge of ECSS and ICDs.

Qualifikationen

• Ground Segment System Engineering experience in the space industry.
• Experience through the complete System Engineering lifecycle.
• Strong experience in Requirements Engineering and requirements management using IBM DOORS or equivalent.
• Hands-on IV&V activities.
• Experience with Ground Segment integration, testing and verification campaigns.
• Knowledge of ECSS engineering standards and engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system/interface engineering.
• Experience with Configuration Management and requirements traceability.
• Familiarity with MBSE and Enterprise Architect is considered an asset.
• Experience with Linux and scripting (Python/Bash) is an advantage.
• Previous experience in Earth Observation, Copernicus, ESA or EUMETSAT programmes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

• Support anomaly investigation, configuration management and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
