Zusammenfassung

GMV is expanding its space team in Germany to work on EUMETSAT ground-segment projects for earth observation missions. You will provide systems engineering support across requirements, architecture interfaces, and IVV, applying MBSE practices.

Ideal candidates have aerospace background with experience in ground segments, ECSS standards, and a willingness to relocate or work hybrid; relocation and mobility are offered as part of the package.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in system or subsystem engineering of an earth observation ground segment.
• IVV of an earth observation ground segment.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Experience with Model-based engineering (MBSE) is a plus.

• Perform requirements engineering and analysis of system architecture and interfaces.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will provide systems engineering support to EUMETSAT ground segments for earth observation missions like MTG, EPS-SG, EPS-Sterna, or EPS-Aeolus. Your main tasks will include the support of:

• Requirements engineering
• Specification and analysis of system architecture design and interfaces
• Integration, Verification & Validation (IVV)
• Model-based engineering (MBSE)
• System operations and maintenance

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for aerospace engineers with interest in earth observation missions. If you want this position to be yours you should have experience in:

• System or subsystem engineering of an earth observation ground segment
• IVV of an earth observation ground segment
• ECSS standards

We will also value experience of Model-based engineering.
