Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Grid Delivery Project Manager to coordinate HV grid infrastructure projects across the DACH region. The role involves working with DSOs, TSOs, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in energy infrastructure, HV/MV substations expertise, and fluency in German and English. This is a hybrid, 12-month freelance contract requiring travel to Frankfurt and Berlin, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5–8+ years in energy, utilities, power infrastructure or grid connection sector.
• Strong experience with HV/MV substations and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience coordinating grid interconnection projects with DSOs/TSOs.
• Good technical understanding of HV/MV power systems and utility connection processes.
• Experience supporting procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate grid connection and HV infrastructure activities across multiple projects, including utility engagement, permitting, procurement, and delivery planning.
• Manage relationships with DSOs, TSOs, contractors, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Organise and lead regular project meetings, technical discussions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, programme updates, and executive presentations.
• Support project budgeting, financial forecasting, cost tracking, and purchase order administration.
• Coordinate technical and programme requirements across engineering, procurement, and delivery teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and support resolution of delivery challenges.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication across workstreams.
• Support project activities across the DACH region, including occasional site visits and travel up to 30%.

Power Grid Delivery Manager – High Voltage Infrastructure

Location: Frankfurt / Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

Duration: 12 Months – Extendable

Working Arrangement: Hybrid – Travel to Frankfurt and Berlin required approximately 2–4 days per month, with additional project-related travel as needed

Role Overview

Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Grid Delivery Project Manager to support the coordination and delivery of High Voltage (110-220kv) grid infrastructure projects across the DACH region.

This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for an energy professional with strong experience in grid connections, substations, and utility engagement. The successful candidate will coordinate multiple projects, working closely with Distribution System Operators (DSOs), Transmission System Operators (TSOs), engineering consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8+ years of experience within the energy, utilities, power infrastructure, or grid connection sector.
• Strong experience working with HV/MV substations and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience coordinating grid interconnection projects and engaging with DSOs and TSOs.
• Good technical understanding of HV/MV power systems, grid infrastructure, and utility connection processes.
• Experience supporting procurement, project budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills, including engagement with senior management.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Flexibility to travel to Frankfurt, Berlin, and other project locations when required.
