Jobtailor seeks an internship role focused on product strategy and delivery within the biotechnology/healthcare digital product space. You will partner with product managers, engineers, designers, data scientists, and domain experts to drive structured discovery and translate insights into actionable backlog items.

You will support planning, testing, launch prep, and learning after launch, while evaluating product performance through qualitative and quantitative evidence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required or higher.
• Ongoing enrollment in MBA or related Master’s/Ph.D. program with first year completed.
• Located in the United States for the duration of internship.

• Contribute to the strategy, discovery, and delivery of digital products solving business and scientific problems
• Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, data scientists, and domain experts
• Drive structured discovery for defined product opportunities by analyzing stakeholder needs, customer journeys, business processes, and relevant data
• Translate insights into problem statements, personas, journey maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog recommendations
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, launch preparation, and post-launch learning
• Assess product performance using qualitative and quantitative evidence
• Identify adoption or experience gaps and recommend improvements
• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions
• Communicate product progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations
• Contribute to product roadmaps and strategic narratives by connecting user needs, business value, technical feasibility, and measurable outcomes

Requirements

• Must be available to work a full-time schedule
• Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program / co-op
• Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program
• Must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered
• 18 years or older
• Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program from an accredited college or university and completed the first year before the internship starts
• In the process of completing the first year of a Master’s program with concentration in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 1 or more years relevant work experience
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or health care industry experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong project management, analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficient in one of the coding languages: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
• Coursework in Business Systems analysis, Lean, Agile (SCRUM), SDLC processes, Software Development, Database Modeling, Web Design and Development, IT Management, Cloud-based application management, B2B Collaboration, or enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program

Demonstrates strong analytical and project management skills to drive product strategy and delivery in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries. Proficient in translating insights into actionable product roadmaps and user stories while facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
