Leibinger Group in Tuttlingen, Germany, is seeking a Global Solutions Director to lead the development of complete 2D coding solutions, drive global solutions sales and shape the market approach.

You will work with cross-functional teams, partners and international distributors, turning pilot projects into scalable, profitable deployments while expanding 2DJet business.

Frequent travel within Europe and to Tuttlingen is expected; fluency in English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in industrial coding and marking, packaging, production line solutions or related field.
• Strong understanding of 2D coding, GS1 standards and practical challenges of implementing new codes in production environments.
• Track record of developing business with senior customer decision makers and building productive technology partnerships.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into customer projects.
• Ability to connect customer needs across hardware, software, data, verification and line integration.
• Experience working across regions and enabling direct sales teams and distributor networks.
• Ability to build and lead a team as the solutions business grows.
• Fluent English and clear communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Drive solutions sales globally. Identify priority industries and early adopters, build a pipeline of qualified projects, and support the commercial adoption of IQJET, 2DJet and future 2D coding solutions.
• Build relationships across the market with international brand owners, retailers, GS1 organizations, packaging partners and other stakeholders.
• Develop complete solution sets by connecting coding equipment with customers’ production and enterprise systems including cameras, verification, ejectors, and other printing technologies.
• Turn use cases into scaled solutions by defining problems, shaping pilots with key accounts, and expanding pilots into repeatable solutions across sites and regions.
• Lead strategic partnerships to extend Leibinger’s application coverage and enable full production line solutions.
• Grow the 2DJet business by driving business development and translating feedback into requirements for future variants.
• Shape our market approach by tracking GS1 initiatives and retailer programs to refine positioning and go-to-market plans.
• Work across Leibinger with Key Account, Application Support, regional sales, Marketing, R&D and Product Management to coordinate opportunities.
• Build the solutions team over time by defining capabilities, recruiting, developing and leading the team.
• Represent Leibinger in the industry through customer education, industry groups, conferences and related opportunities.

Global Solutions Director (m/f/d)

• Drive solutions sales globally. Identify priority industries and early adopters, build a pipeline of qualified projects, and support the commercial adoption of IQJET, 2DJet and future 2D coding solutions.
• Build relationships across the market. Engage international brand owners, retailers, GS1 organizations, packaging partners and other stakeholders shaping 2D migration. Ensure Leibinger is considered as customers plan and deploy new coding systems.
• Develop complete solution sets. Work with internal teams and partners to connect coding equipment with customers’ production and enterprise systems and address needs for cameras, verification, ejectors, secondary coding and other printing technologies used on the production line.
• Turn use cases into scaled solutions. Define the customer problem and business case, shape pilot projects with key accounts, and work with sales and application teams to turn successful pilots into repeatable solutions across sites and regions.
• Lead strategic partnerships. Identify, develop and manage partnerships that extend Leibinger’s application coverage and enable complete production line solutions.
• Grow the 2DJet business. Drive business development for 2DJet, work closely with Product Management on its launch, and translate customer and market feedback into requirements for future variants.
• Shape our market approach. Track developments in GS1 initiatives, Digital Product Passports, retailer programs and related requirements. Use these insights to refine Leibinger’s positioning, customer value propositions, business cases and go to market plans.
• Work across Leibinger. Collaborate closely with the Key Account organization, Application Support, regional sales organizations, Marketing Communications, R&D and Product Management. Share market intelligence, coordinate customer opportunities and pilots, and help international distributors communicate a consistent solution story.
• Build the solutions team over time. As the workload grows, define the capabilities needed and recruit, develop and lead a team to support the global solutions business.
• Represent Leibinger in the industry. Contribute to customer education, industry working groups, conferences and other opportunities to build awareness of practical 2D coding solutions.
• The position is based in Europe, with frequent travel to Leibinger in Tuttlingen, Germany, and regular international travel.

Your profile:
