Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Product Manager for Coding & Marking Equipment to drive the product strategy and roadmap from Tuttlingen.

You will translate market needs into actionable requirements and collaborate with R&D, System Engineering and Project Management to deliver new developments. The role focuses on lifecycle management, pricing, differentiation and ongoing portfolio optimization, with involvement in sales support and KPI reviews.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing with strong technical affinity.
• 5+ years of experience in product management in industrial B2B environments.
• Proven track record managing product lifecycle (roadmap, launches, improvements, phase-outs).
• Strong understanding of product development processes and business case analysis.
• Basic marketing knowledge (segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis).
• Knowledge of AI tools is an asset.
• Skilled in ERP/CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and leadership; customer-oriented and analytical.
• Fluent in English; proactive and results-driven.
• Based in Tuttlingen; occasional travel possible.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for coding & Marking equipment in line with company strategy, market trends and customer requirements.
• Translate market needs into clear, prioritized product requirements and collaborate with System Engineering, R&D and Project Management to turn them into concrete developments.
• Steer the lifecycle of existing products (positioning, pricing, differentiation, cost and quality improvements, obsolescence management, phase-out).
• Monitor competitors, market trends and identify areas for differentiation or improvement.
• Collect and formalize product requirements, build business cases and present proposals in governance bodies.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, System Engineering and Project Management to ensure product requirements are translated into technical solutions.
• Support Sales and distributors with product expertise and training.
• Define and monitor KPIs of your portfolio performance, prepare regular product line reviews and contribute to process improvements.
