Job summary

Sonova is seeking a Senior Logistics Operations Manager / Global Process Owner for Warehousing in Erfurt. Lead global warehousing processes and SOPs, drive improvements across SAP DCs, and ensure compliance with Sonova’s quality system.

This hybrid role partners with regional teams and supports ERP rollout and process standardization. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehouse/logistics, strong SAP logistics module knowledge (EWM/TM/GTS) and project management experience, plus fluent English

Qualifications

• Commercial or logistics-related education required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management or logistics functions.
• Fluent English; German and/or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Global Process Owner for Warehousing, driving global processes and SOPs with regional teams.
• Develop, update and maintain global SOPs and work instructions in the quality system (eQMS).
• Oversee change requests, testing and approval processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with global logistics teams to share best practices and improve operations.
• Support ERP rollout projects, including training, testing and change management.
• Manage risk and collaborate with technical/functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support daily logistics operations focusing on outbound coordination and SAP calendar management.
• Monitor SAP routing times and shipping condition accuracy to optimize delivery.

Senior Logistics Operations Manager / Global Process Owner Warehousing (m/f/d) (Erfurt, Hybrid)

The Senior Logistics Operations Manager / Global Process Owner (GPO) Warehousing supports the Senior Director of Distribution and collaborates closely with regional and local logistics teams to drive best practices across all Sonova's SAP Distribution Centers and locations. This role leads global warehousing processes, standard operating procedures, and system improvements to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and consistency across Sonova’s global logistics network.

Responsibilities:

Act as the Global Process Owner for Warehousing, driving global warehouse processes and SOPs in collaboration with regional and local teams

Develop, update, and maintain global SOPs and work instructions within Sonova’s quality system (eQMS)

Oversee change requests, testing, and approval processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Partner with global logistics teams to share best practices and continuously improve operations

Support ERP rollout projects, including user training, process testing, and change management

Manage risk, identify business issues, and collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve them

Support daily logistics operations with a focus on outbound delivery coordination, capacity planning, and SAP calendar management

Monitor and improve SAP routing times and shipping condition accuracy to optimize delivery performance

More about you:

Commercial or logistics-related education required; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management or logistics functions

Strong knowledge of SAP logistics modules (EWM, TM, GTS) and Microsoft Office

Project management experience, ideally in international or warehouse process design contexts

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in fast‑paced environments

Proven ability to develop processes, SOPs, and work instructions

Fluent written and verbal English; German and/or French a plus
