Ignite is seeking an experienced Team Lead – ERP Basis & Development to drive the global ERP strategy with SAP S/4HANA at the core. You will lead a technical team, own the ERP landscape across subsidiaries, and align business needs with cutting-edge ERP solutions.

You will oversee international rollouts, project budgets, and resource planning while collaborating with stakeholders across the group. German and English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (minimum Bachelor).
• Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise with practical SAP knowledge.
• Several years of ERP experience in an enterprise setting.
• Proven leadership of ERP projects, rollouts and integrations.
• Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the ERP Basis & Development team (support, admin, authorizations, development, integration, forms).
• Ensure stability and evolution of SAP S/4HANA core systems.
• Plan and execute international ERP projects and global rollouts.
• Manage project budgets and internal resources; oversee external partners.
• Collaborate with business units to translate needs into scalable ERP solutions.
• Provide status reporting and strategic insights to Head of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and further develop the ERP Basis & Development team covering support, system administration, authorizations, development, integration, and forms.

System Stability & Optimization

• Ensure the stable operation, continuous improvement, and strategic evolution of the company's core enterprise systems, primarily SAP S/4HANA.

Global Rollout Management

• Plan and execute international ERP projects, system integrations, and global rollouts across various group locations worldwide.

Resource & Budget Management

• Oversee project budgets, allocate internal resources effectively, and manage external service providers and partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with business departments to translate operational needs into efficient, scalable business processes and technical system solutions.

Stakeholder Reporting

• Provide regular status reporting and strategic insights directly to the Head of Business Development.

Candidate Profile

Must-Haves

• Education: Successfully completed university degree (minimum Bachelor's) in Business Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• SAP Expertise: Very strong and proven practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Professional Experience: Several years of solid professional experience within an enterprise ERP environment.
• Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated experience in leading ERP projects, rollouts, and system integrations, backed by prior leadership exposure (either disciplinary or in a functional project management capacity).
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both German and English (written and spoken at a professional negotiation level).
• Intercultural Competence & Travel Readiness: Strong intercultural communication skills combined with a high willingness to undertake international travel for project rollouts.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of alternative ERP systems, such as Ramsauer & Stürmer.
• Experience with supply-chain related modules and form development within an enterprise landscape.
