Job summary

Hyundai GLOVIS Europe GmbH is seeking an IT Developer to implement Java-based applications using Spring, design EDI interfaces, and bridge back-end and front-end layers with Vue.js. The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

You will work on legacy maintenance, IT flow design, and continuous improvement of software performance, reliability, and scalability. English proficiency required; Korean is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT development experience in an equally senior role.
• Strong knowledge of Transportation Management and/or Warehouse Management System domains.
• Proven track record of participating in at least 3 software development projects as a developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, and Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Vue.js.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and maintenance of GitLab and Jenkins.
• Experience in implementing and testing EDI interfaces.
• Experience in DevOps environments with Kubernetes, Docker, and ContainerD.
• Knowledge of Web Server technologies (Nginx, Apache) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Job description

Implementation of JAVA-Based Applications with Spring framework

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications with Spring framework based on analyzing business process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Development of EDI Interfaces via Lobster_data solution

• Design and implement EDI/APIs interfaces with the Lobster_Data solution based on analyzing logistics process to facilitate communication between heterogeneous solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams(business/project) to ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.

Back-end and Front-end Development

• Work on both the server-side logic and user interface components to deliver robust and responsive applications.
• Ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems for optimal performance.
• Back-end with JAVA via Spring framework / Front-end with Vue.js

IT Flow/Process design and development for Team-project

• Setting the flow/process based on IT point of view regarding the requirements from customer and project purpose
• Lead IT Tech points regarding policy of Web Server/WAS/Database/Security area to open the team-project

Legacy Solution Maintenance

• Take charge of maintaining and enhancing existing legacy solutions with analyzing legacy business process.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of legacy systems.

Application Improvement and Optimization for Maintenance

• Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
• Implement best practices for code quality and conduct code reviews.

Your profile

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a IT Developer role in a full-time position.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Transportation Management (e.g., Finished Vehicle Logistics, Spare Parts Logistics) and/or Warehouse Management System.
• Proven track record of participating in at least 3 software development projects in a developer role.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, Javascript, Kotlin, Swift, etc and relational database systems such as Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Vue.js.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, including the maintenance and administration of applications using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Experience in the implementation and testing of EDI interfaces is considered an advantage.
• Experience working in DevOps environments, including technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and ContainerD, is a plus.
• Knowledge of Web Application Servers (WAS), including configuration and administration, is desirable.
• Experience with Web-Server technologies such as Nginx and Apache, including configuration and maintenance, is an advantage.
• Experience or knowledge in the logistics and supply chain industry is highly desirable.
• Strong interest in new technologies, innovation, and open-source environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international, and fast-paced environment.
• Business-level English communication skills are required; Korean language skills are considered an asset.
