GLOVIS Europe GmbH in Eschborn, Germany seeks an experienced EDI/Interface Developer to design, implement, and test EDI interfaces and REST APIs. You will collaborate across teams to integrate with third-party systems, develop scalable data delivery architectures, and maintain legacy solutions while improving performance and security.

The role requires 3–5 years of professional experience, strong English communication, and knowledge of SFTP/OFTP/HTTPS, XML/JSON, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of professional experience as an EDI/Interface Developer
• Experience in development, implementation, and testing of EDI interfaces and REST APIs
• Knowledge of SFTP, OFTP, HTTPS protocols
• Experience with XML and JSON formats
• Oracle database environment and PL/SQL analysis
• Familiarity with Linux-based servers (CentOS) is a plus
• Experience with EDI/EAI integration platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of Lobster_data development and configuration
• Understanding of web server technologies (Nginx/Apache)
• Logistics and supply chain industry knowledge is beneficial
• Willingness to learn open-source technologies and work in a dynamic environment
• Business-level English; Korean an asset

Your mission

Development of EDI Interfaces and Rest-APIs:

• Design and implement EDI/APIs interfaces with the Lobster_Data solution based on analyzing logistics process to facilitate communication between heterogeneous solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.

Operating and Managing the data standard and data flow architecture:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes and workflows
• Development of data delivery architecture based on expansion of interface
• Establishment of stable operating system due to increase of existing interface data

Legacy Solution Maintenance:

• Take charge of maintaining and enhancing existing legacy solutions with analyzing legacy business process.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of legacy systems.

Application Improvement and Optimization:

• Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
• Implement best practices for code quality and conduct code reviews.

Your profile

• Minimum of3–5 years of professional experience as an EDI/Interface Developer in a full-time position.
• Proven experience in thedevelopment, implementation, and testing of EDI interfaces and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of communication and transmission protocols such asSFTP, OFTP, HTTPS, as well as experience working withXML and JSON formats.
• Experience inOracle database environments, including PL/SQL analysis and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity withLinux-based server environments (CentOS) is considered an advantage.
• Experience withEDI/EAI integration platforms and environments is a plus.
• Knowledge ofLobster_data development and configuration is highly desirable.
• Understanding ofweb server technologies, particularlyNginx and Apache, including configuration and administration, is an advantage.
• Experience or knowledge in thelogistics and supply chain industry is beneficial.
• Strong interest inemerging technologies, open-source solutions, and continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in amulticultural, international, and dynamic environment.
• Business-level English communication skills are required;Korean language skills are considered an asset.
