Job summary

ib vogt GmbH in Berlin seeks an experienced FP&A Controller to ensure risk assessment is reflected in financial reporting and planning. You will build and maintain sensitivity models, develop scenarios, and create dashboards across the portfolio to support management decisions.

The role requires 8+ years in group-controlling, strong MS Office skills, and fluency in English; German is a plus. We offer a hybrid work model and international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Controlling or Finance.
• 8+ years of experience in Group or Corporate Controlling, FP&A or Risk Management, preferably in renewables.
• Experience with risk evaluation methodologies is highly desired.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel add-ins, PowerPoint) and ERP knowledge.
• Fluent English required; German skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement a risk management framework across the value chain and integrate it into financial planning.
• Provide regular risk reporting to CFO and senior leadership with clear insights.
• Maintain long-term financial models including sensitivity analyses and scenarios.
• Create risk dashboards and early warning indicators across the project portfolio.
• Contribute to budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and development of new planning tools.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for Top Management and shareholders.

Job Description

As an FP&A Controller you ensure that risk assessment is reflected in all financial reporting and planning processes and presented regularly and transparently to the Management. You build and maintain sensitivity models and develop various scenarios in the financial planning processes. You create risk dashboards and early warning indicators across all management reporting.

• Build and implement a risk management framework across the full value chain and integrate it into all financial planning processes
• Build and maintain regular risk reporting to CFO and senior leadership, translating complex project and market risks into clear, actionable insights
• Maintainlong-term financial models incl. sensitivity analysis and scenarios with embedded risk assessment ( incl. power price exposure, cost inflation and supply chain volatility, interest rate and financing risks, etc.)
• Build risk dashboards and early warning indicators across project portfolio, improving forecast accuracy and reducing negative earnings surprises
• Introduce portfolio-level risk view, linking individual project risks to overall Group performance and liquidity planning
• Participatein the annual budget and the quarterly forecasting processes on Group level andin the development of the new financial planning tool
• Preparebudget, forecast presentations and ad-hoc analyses for Top Management and the Shareholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Controlling or Finance
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Group or Corporate Controlling, in particular FP&A and/or Risk Management in multinational companies, preferably in the renewable energyindustry
• Experience in the use of risk evaluation methodologies would be highly desired
• Strong technical skills in MS Office, in particular Excel incl. add-ins andPowerPoint
• Understanding ofintegrated ERP systems, e.g. Navision Dynamics/Business Central or SAP
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools (e.g. Lucanet) and financial planning/modellingtools
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal; German skills are advantageous
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
• Change management skills would be an advantage
