Job summary

RIZM is seeking a proactive Recruiter to build and scale our recruitment function in Munich/Munster. You will design roles, workflows, and tools, sourcing engineers and product talent via LinkedIn, universities, and networks, while guiding first conversations and shaping our employer narrative.

You will automate screening and reporting with AI, track funnel bottlenecks, and help RIZM be seen as a top place to work through events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Background in psychology, business, HR management, social sciences or similar.
• You have recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally in startups or tech.
• You can relate to engineers and speak their language.
• You explore new tools and build efficient workflows.
• You enjoy creating structured recruitment processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Build recruiting structure with the team—define roles, workflows, and tools.
• Source engineers, energy experts, and product people via networks and universities.
• Lead initial conversations, share the company story, and provide candidate care.

Tasks

Build tomorrow's team: You work directly within the team, design our recruiting structure together with us – roles, workflows, tools – and later bring more recruiters and sourcers on board yourself.

Find the right people: Track down engineers, energy experts and product people via LinkedIn, Juicebox, universities, communities and your own network.

Win people over: Lead first conversations, tell our story convincingly and make sure every candidate feels well looked after – even when it's a no.

Make processes smart: Automate sequences, screening and reporting with AI instead of maintaining spreadsheets.

Steer by numbers: Always know where the funnel gets stuck – and turn the right dials.

Get us seen: Shape how RIZM is perceived as an employer – careers page, job ads, events, university partnerships.

Requirements

Background: Degree in psychology, business, HR management, social sciences or something comparable – or a path that prepared you just as well.

Experience: You've worked in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in startups or tech, and know how to approach technical profiles.

People sense: You spot potential even when it's not on the CV, and you can talk to engineers as equals.

Tech affinity: You try out new tools, build your own workflows and enjoy making things more efficient.

Builder drive: You don't want to step into ready-made structures – you want to create them, independently, reliably and fast.

Languages: Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
