This role owns the end-to-end product experience - across end users, operators, and AI‑assisted workflows - designing scalable, interaction‑first systems that unlock new growth use cases in an increasingly automated, AI‑driven world.

⭐ TL;DR

  • Seed, GrowthTech
  • Remote‑first (+/-3 CET)
  • Competitive base salary + significant equity

⭐ Why join

  • Unique growth opportunity: early‑stage GrowthTech start‑up backed by top‑tier investors like HV Capital, ByFounders, TinyVC, and operator angels from YouTube, Personio, and Workday
  • Complex and interesting product: APIs, attribution models, recommendation engines, and more.
  • Strong momentum: Software companies need cost‑effective customer acquisition channelswe’re the solution.
  • We have >>10M users on the Cello platform and work with iconic customers like Miro, Typeform and Veed.
  • Become a central part of an experienced and passionate co‑founding team on our journey to a truly great company (ex‑Twilio, ex‑Wise, ex‑Skype, etc.), +40% of the team consists of former founders

⭐ Your responsibilities

  • You will define and own Cello’s design foundations, including principles, patterns, and a scalable design system
  • You will lead end‑to‑end product design across core experiences, from early concepts to shipped product
  • You will partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to shape solutions early and holistically
  • You will design clear, user‑centred experiences for end users, growth teams, partners, and developers
  • You will shape how the Cello SDK integrates into customer products and how developers build on top of it
  • You will use user research and product data to inform decisions, validate assumptions, and iterate quickly
  • You will raise the design bar through hands‑on work, strong critique, and continuous improvement of how design is done
  • You will ensure a coherent product and brand experience across key customer touchpoints, including the website
About You

❤️ We care less about your exact background and more about how you think and build. You’re curious, hands‑on, and motivated by shaping meaningful products - comfortable operating with ownership, ambiguity, and scale as Cello grows.

Required

  • Senior experience in product / UX / interaction design (+7 years of experience)
  • Proven track record on products that scaled in users, complexity, or scope (ideally B2B SaaS or platforms)
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills across complex, end‑to‑end flows
  • Experience designing under real constraints and making tradeoffs with product and engineering
  • Comfortable owning ambiguous problems end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving, high‑ownership environment
  • Experience working alongside product and engineering to make difficult tradeoffs.

Nice‑to‑have

  • Experience with embedded products, platforms, or developer‑facing tools
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted or data‑heavy products
  • Experience defining design systems or standards, ideally in early‑stage teams

Not a fit if

  • Your background is primarily marketing or brand design
  • You rely on fully specified requirements or handoff‑based workflows
  • You prefer people management over hands‑on product design
  • You’re not comfortable with embedded, constraint‑heavy products
