Wwshemi, an early-stage B2B AI software startup, seeks a Founding Marketing Lead to own the marketing function and shape market awareness and growth through hands-on campaigns, content, events and brand-building.

You will plan and execute across email, social media, the website, events, partnerships, and paid channels; create newsletters, founder content, customer stories, videos, webinars, blogs, and social content.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B startup/scaleup marketing with multichannel ownership.
• Native-level German writing and strong English copywriting skills.
• Hands-on content creation, events, launches, and landing pages.
• Proven ability to test and scale channels with a commercial growth focus.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As Founding Marketing Lead, you will own the marketing function at an early-stage B2B AI software startup, working closely with its founders. You will shape market awareness and growth through hands‑on campaign execution, content, events, and brand‑building.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute campaigns across email, social media, the website, events, partnerships, and paid channels.
• Create and distribute newsletters, founder content, customer stories, videos, webinars, blog posts, and social content.
• Work with product marketing to turn launches into coordinated campaigns across customer‑facing channels.
• Organize webinars, dinners, conferences, and customer events from planning through follow‑up.
• Develop founder content from ideas, customer conversations, and market insights.
• Create campaign concepts and assets yourself or in collaboration with freelancers, agencies, and AI tools.
• Build and optimize landing pages, campaign pages, and conversion journeys.
• Test new formats, partnerships, and distribution channels, then scale effective approaches.
• Measure how marketing activities contribute to awareness, pipeline, and revenue.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of marketing experience in a B2B startup or scaleup, including ownership of multichannel campaigns.
• Native‑level German writing and strong English copywriting skills.
• Hands‑on experience producing content, running events, supporting product launches, and building landing pages and conversion journeys.
• A track record of testing and scaling marketing channels, with a commercial focus on customer acquisition and growth.
• Comfort using AI tools for research, writing, design, automation, and analysis.
• Strong creative judgment, organization, autonomy, and a bias toward execution.
• Experience across startup and scaleup environments is valued.
