Job summary

Primefold, a Berlin-based AI-driven startup, seeks a Senior Marketing Manager to own our market presence by translating the GTM strategy into clear brand positioning, messaging, and a unified communications framework for Primefold, XI and RI. You will plan campaigns, content, events and PR and lead our Marketing Manager while collaborating with freelancers and specialists.

This hands-on role requires crafting briefs and first drafts, leading initiatives end-to-end, and building scalable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B marketing experience in SaaS, AI or tech.
• Proven track record in brand and product positioning with measurable impact.
• Experience running integrated campaigns, content programmes and events.
• Strong briefs, sharp writing, and ability to critique work.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing junior marketers.
• Excellent written English storytelling.
• German is a nice-to-have skill.

Your mission

As Senior Marketing Manager, you own how Primefold shows up in the market. You take the go-to-market strategy set by our Head of GTM and turn it into what people actually see and hear: brand and product positioning, messaging, and a clear communications framework for Primefold, XI and RI.

Then you make it happen. You plan and run the campaigns, content, events and PR that take our story to market. You lead our Marketing Manager and work with freelancers, agencies and specialists.

This is a hands‑on role. You set the direction, and you still write the positioning, briefs and first drafts yourself.

What you will do:

• Own our brand and product positioning, including how XI and RI are different and what we promise each customer group
• Build our messaging and our communications framework (tone of voice, language rules, guidelines), so everyone works from one source
• Plan the annual and quarterly marketing calendar across campaigns, content, events and launches
• Own campaign concepts, copy and creative, and shape the channel strategy together with the Head of GTM
• Run our content and social strategy, our event presence (industry events, speaking slots, webinars), and PR and media relations
• Own the narrative and copy of our website
• Lead and develop our Marketing Manager and brief our freelancers and agencies
• Report on what works and bring back what the market tells us

Your profile

• 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, AI or tech, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
• You have built B2B brand and product positioning before, and you can show what changed afterwards
• A track record of running integrated campaigns, content programmes and events
• You write sharp briefs and are not afraid to say when work is not good enough
• Experience leading, coaching and developing junior marketers
• An excellent writer and storyteller in English
• German is a big plus, but not a must. It would be great if you speak it
• Commercially minded: you turn strategy into action and feed back what you learn from the market
• Comfortable with data, and happy to use AI tools in your daily work
• Based in Germany (remote, Berlin preferred)
• Nice to have: DACH market experience, and working knowledge of HubSpot and paid marketing platforms

This is not a role for someone who only wants to coordinate agencies, or who needs a big team and ready‑made playbooks. You will write, brief, review and ship work yourself, and build our marketing processes as we grow.
