Job summary

Dealspec in Berlin is seeking a hands-on full-stack engineer to build and scale our AI-enabled platform. You’ll work across frontend and backend, shaping architecture and security, turning complex financial workflows into reliable software.

You will ship with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL in a Turborepo monorepo, own data isolation and permissions, and collaborate with the founders to set engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years shipping full-stack products with TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js in data-heavy B2B apps.
• Strong PostgreSQL and ORM skills with multi-tenant architecture and RLS.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into products through tool calling, streaming and RAG.
• Excellent UI/UX sense and ability to turn rough ideas into polished interfaces.
• Strong communication in English and preferably German.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve a B2B web app using Next.js, React and TypeScript in a shared Turborepo monorepo.
• Turn ideas and client feedback into responsive UI using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
• Design and develop backend services with Hono, Drizzle ORM and PostgreSQL, including APIs, schemas and migrations.
• Own permissions and data isolation across orgs and projects, including RLS.
• Own testing, deployment and monitoring for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with founders to shape product priorities, architecture and standards.

Profile

• Strong experience (2-3+ years) shipping full-stack products with TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, ideally in data-heavy B2B applications
• Strong PostgreSQL and ORM skills, with an understanding of secure, multi-tenant architectures and Row-Level-Security
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into products through tool calling, streaming and RAG
• A good eye for UI & UX and the ability to turn rough ideas into polished interfaces
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and preferrably German

Tasks

• Build and improve our B2B web application using Next.js, React and TypeScript in a shared Turborepo monorepo
• Turn product ideas and client feedback into responsive, intuitive UI using Tailwind CSS and our shared shadcn/ui component library
• Design and develop backend services with Hono, Drizzle ORM and PostgreSQL, including APIs, relational schemas and database migrations
• Own permissions and data isolation across organizations and projects, from application-level access controls to PostgreSQL Row-Level Security
• Own testing, deployment and monitoring, ensuring reliability and performance across the stack
• Work closely with the founding team to shape product priorities, technical architecture and engineering standards
