Zusammenfassung

Career Management GmbH seeks an Accounting Manager for its German office in Stuttgart. You will lead and develop the Finance and IT teams, assume functional and disciplinary responsibility, and foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include financial closing, monthly reporting, planning, revenue and cost analyses, and ensuring tax compliance under HGB/IFRS. You will partner with management to drive improvements across Finance, Controlling, Tax and Export.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Bilanzbuchhalter.
• Multiple years of leadership experience with teams.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and IFRS.
• Fluent German and English, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

They are currently looking for a new AccountingManager for their German office.

• Lead and develop the Finance and IT teams, taking functional and disciplinary responsibility, supporting employee development, and fostering a high-performing team environment
• Oversee financial operations and reporting, including day-to-day finance processes, monthly reporting, financial planning, revenue and profitability analysis, personnel costs, and SG&A
• Manage financial closing, tax, and compliance activities, including HGB annual financial statements, IFRS consolidation reporting, tax-related matters, regulatory reporting, and cooperation with auditors and tax advisors
• Manage liquidity and financial planning, including intercompany processes, payment planning, cash flow management, and ensuring reliable liquidity control
• Act as a business partner to management and drive continuous improvement by advising on financial and commercial matters and developing processes and structures across Finance, Controlling, Tax, and Export

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) with relevant professional experience
• Several years of leadership experience with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and lead teams toward common goals
• Strong knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB and ideally IFRS, as well as familiarity with corporate and VAT taxation
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, combined with strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office
• Structured, independent, and results-oriented working style, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to actively drive change and continuous improvement
