Zusammenfassung

INABA-FOODS (EUROPE) GmbH is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager for its European Headquarters in Düsseldorf. You will oversee all finance, accounting, compliance, and payroll activities across 18 entities while leading a team of five professionals.

You will coordinate with HQ in Japan to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global standards, driving efficiency and cross‑border collaboration across Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of finance/accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, tax regulations, HGB, and IFRS.
• Experience managing multi-country finance operations within Europe.
• Fluent English; German and/or Japanese a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting according to local GAAP and group requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports and country P&L statements to HQ in Japan.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Oversee accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across all entities.
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee payroll execution across 18 countries in collaboration with local providers.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a finance team of 5 employees.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and finance-related projects.
• Partner closely with senior management on financial topics.

We are currently looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/d) for our European Headquarter based in Düsseldorf.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, compliance, and payroll activities across 18 European entities while leading a team of 5 finance professionals. Acting as the key interface between the European organization and HQ in Japan, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred
• Minimum 10 years of finance/accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, tax regulations, HGB, and IFRS
• Experience managing multi-country finance operations within Europe
• Solid understanding of international payroll processes
• Experience in international organizations and HQ-structures
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Fluent English required; German and/or Japanese is a plus
• SAP and advanced MS Excel skills preferred
