Vestas Wind Systems is seeking a Field Supervisor in Saxony, serving Grimma and surrounding areas. You will lead service technicians, ensure timely task completion, and drive process improvements in a wind energy environment.

Your role emphasizes safe operations, KPI-driven decisions, and targeted staff development while traveling within Saxony. A technical background and strong German/English skills are required.

Competenze

• Vocational training in electrotechnical, mechanical, or a technical field or a technical degree.
• Experience leading employees and strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills.
• Willingness to travel within Saxony during the week; back home at weekends.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and iOS operating systems and apps.
• Hold a driving licence, ideally class BE.
• Very good German and good English skills.

• You will provide guidance and leadership to service technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule

• You will analyse KPIs and PPIs, derive measures to improve processes and outcomes, and keep organisational and departmental objectives in view

• You will carry out regular quality and employee audits, ensuring compliance with work instructions, standard times, and material usage

• You will make operational decisions together with Area Management based on regularly collected performance and process indicators

• You will identify training needs and ensure targeted employee development to sustainably build competencies

• Together with the service technicians, you will monitor their working time accounts and coordinate with planners to balance additional and reduced hours

• As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations on site

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrotechnical, mechanical, or other technical field, or a technical degree

• You have already gained experience in leading employees and bring strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills

• You are willing to travel within the region of Saxony during the week; you will be back home at the weekend

• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps

• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level

• You have a driving licence, ideally class BE

• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
