Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Field Supervisor (m/f/d) for wind turbines in Saxony, covering Grimma and surrounding areas. The role oversees service technicians, ensuring timely tasks and compliance, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

You will lead a team, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement while traveling regionally in Saxony. A technical background, driving licence, and language skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electrotechnical, mechanical, or a technical field.
• Experience in leading employees and strong teamwork.
• Willing to travel within Saxony during the week; weekends at home.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps.
• Driving licence, ideally class BE.
• Very good German and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to service technicians, ensuring tasks on schedule.
• Analyse KPIs and PPIs to improve processes and outcomes.
• Carry out regular quality and employee audits and ensure compliance with work instructions.
• Make operational decisions with Area Management based on performance data.
• Identify training needs and develop staff competencies.
• Monitor working time accounts with technicians and coordinate with planners on hours.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations on site.

• You will provide guidance and leadership to service technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule
• You will analyse KPIs and PPIs, derive measures to improve processes and outcomes, and keep organisational and departmentalobjectivesin view
• You will carry out regular quality and employee audits, ensuring compliance with work instructions, standard times, and material usage
• You will make operational decisions together with Area Management based on regularly collected performance and process indicators
• You willidentifytraining needs and ensure targeted employee development to sustainably build competencies
• Together with the service technicians, you willmonitortheir working time accounts and coordinate with planners to balanceadditionaland reduced hours
• As a Field Supervisor, you willbe responsible forensuring compliance with all safety regulations on site

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training inelectrotechnical, mechanical, or other technical field, or a technical degree
• You have already gained experience in leading employees and bring strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills
• You are willing to travel within the region of Saxony during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps
• You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level
• You have a driving licence, ideally class BE
• Very goodGerman and good English skills round off your profile
