Zusammenfassung

Nottingham City Council is seeking an administrative support role to manage tasks relating to children without a school place, fair access panels and school exclusions. The role includes establishing and maintaining monitoring data on admissions, exclusions and transfers.

The post requires good IT skills, the ability to work independently or in a small team, and strong communication to diverse audiences. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifikationen

  • Knowledge of Local Authority's statutory responsibilities relating to Fair Access and Exclusions, including the relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience or understanding of issues faced by families and schools on admissions of hard-to-place pupils.

Jobbeschreibung

To undertake all administrative tasks and support functions for children without a school place, fair access panels and school exclusions and to establish, maintain and develop monitoring data on admission, exclusion and transfer trends.

  • Good IT skills, be able to work independently on their own initiative, as well as part of a small team,
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be able to communicate effectively to a wide audience.
  • Knowledge of Local Authority's statutory responsibilities relating to Fair Access and Exclusions, including the relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
  • Knowledge of the issues and demands faced by families and schools on the admission of hard to place pupils.
