Zusammenfassung

Cheshire East Council is seeking a proactive Family Hub Business Support Officer to lead a team of Family Advisors and deliver high-quality administrative and financial support across Family Hubs. Aufgaben

  • Recruit, develop and manage the administrative and financial procedures and systems either directly or through the deployment of administrative resources, to ensure that the work is progressed within agreed timescales and in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources across the locality to ensure that physical resources are properly and safely staffed at all times, providing optimum efficiency.
  • Respond to routine and complex enquiries embedding our local Making Every Contact approach to connect customers with a range of internal and external services.
  • Ensure that proper and accurate records are maintained and communicated and that follow up action is taken and monitored.
  • Supervise and motivate the Family Advisors in order to ensure that day to day work is progressed according to agreed timescales, schedules and within defined procedures and that problems are identified and addressed.
  • Induct and train Family Advisors to ensure that they are competent to undertake the required tasks commensurate with the principal responsibilities of their jobs.
  • Maintain performance management systems to facilitate a needs led approach linked to commissioning.
  • Escalate and seek advice on any issues relating to safeguarding.

We are looking for a full time enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Family Hub Business Support Officer to join our Children and Families Service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of the Best Start in Life Family Hub model across the North of Cheshire East. The role is to assist in ensuring high-quality business support services that help improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a team of Family Advisor's and ensuring the provision of excellent administrative and business support services across Family Hubs. You will assist with the collection and reporting of Family Hub performance data, support financial procedures, and ensure systems and processes enable effective service delivery.
