IONOS Group in Karlsruhe seeks an events lead to design and deliver B2B events and trade shows from concept to recap. You shape formats, define goals, set timelines and budgets, and coordinate Sales, Product Management and Brand teams on-site.

You want to own events and trade fair appearances from the first idea to the recap? With us you design and deliver events for IONOS and our brands, from the IONOS Summit to international fairs, and manage the content and social media around them. AI is your standard tool, so there is more time for ideas and content.

Tasks

• You design events and trade fair appearances for our brands: you set goals and formats and develop activations that fit our target groups.
• You manage event communication via email, the event website and social media, especially LinkedIn, before, during and after the event.
• You deliver your events independently: you plan budget and timeline, coordinate internal teams such as Sales, Product Management and Brand and support your events on site.
• You develop the target group and lead strategy for each event, from invitation and lead capture to handover to Sales, and measure the results.
• You own supplier management and oversee creative service providers: you select agencies and freelancers, negotiate with them and keep an eye on costs, quality and invoicing.
• You develop speaker and agenda content with Product Management and PR and use generative AI to produce recap material that Sales, Social and PR can keep using.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and delivering B2B events and trade fair appearances, in-house or agency-side.
• Strong project management skills: you plan budgets, timelines and resources, negotiate with service providers and keep track even across several parallel projects.
• You think about events in terms of results and know how target group engagement and lead generation work in B2B.
• Experience in event communication and content: you write for your target group in email and on social media, especially LinkedIn.
• You already work AI-first and use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude every day.
• Very good German and English and willingness to travel.
