Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced EUC Support Engineer – L2 to provide onsite end-user computing support at our client location in Hilden, Germany. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, operating system, and end-user issues while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 onsite EUC / desktop support to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents.
- Support laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripherals.
- Perform device setup, configuration, installation, replacement, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic LAN-related issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications.
- Handle user account, password, and access-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.
- Perform hardware break/fix and basic asset management activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures, escalation processes, and security guidelines.
- Maintain accurate incident/ticket documentation and provide timely status updates.
- Coordinate with remote L2/L3 teams and other technical teams when escalation is required.
- Ensure all onsite activities are completed within agreed SLA and quality standards.
Required Skills
- 2–5+ years of experience in EUC / Desktop / IT Support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Office applications.
- Good knowledge of laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
- Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
- Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD or Entra ID.
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently at the client site.
- German and English communication skills are preferred.
