Zusammenfassung

Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden seeks an Equipment Engineer to maintain and optimize complex machinery in a high‑tech manufacturing setting. You will gain hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, developing skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities include alarm handling, tool installation and qualification, root-cause analysis, uptime improvements and vendor coordination, with scheduled night/evening

Qualifikationen

  • Legally eligible to work in Germany.
  • On‑the‑job training in Taiwan for one year.
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, Material Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Fluent in English with good command of German.
  • Practical experience in a mechanical‑related field.
  • Understanding of technical documentation and schematics.
  • Hands‑on work attitude with an open mind‑set.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to perform physical work on tools in a cleanroom environment.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Maintain equipment performance in a clean room environment for quality production.

  • Build defense/monitoring system to prevent equipment failure or performance loss.
  • Manage vendor relationships and act as module liaison with facilities, vendor, and manufacturing shift personnel.
  • Scheduled night/evening shifts, weekend on‑duty, and on‑call in a 24/7 high‑volume manufacturing environment are required for business needs.

As an Equipment Engineer, you play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing complex machinery that drives the production of advanced microchips. This role offers hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. You will develop technical skills in diagnostics, trouble‑shooting and equipment maintenance in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Maintain equipment performance in clean room environment for quality production.
