At ESMC, the Equipment Engineer supports the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. As part of a high‑volume 24/7 fab operation, the role focuses on ensuring tool performance, improving uptime, reducing defects, and supporting stable production. The position requires openness to scheduled and occasional shift work, on‑call duty, and includes an initial induction and training period in Dresden of one month, followed by one year of on‑the‑job training in Taiwan.
Role Requirements and Expectations: Gain exposure to TSMC’s world‑leading advanced manufacturing practices and actively contribute to building ESMC from the ground up. Onboarding and International Training: The first month of employment will be spent in Dresden. Training Logistics: ESMC will organize temporary lodging for employees requiring accommodation during the first month in Dresden if they reside more than 90 minutes away. Transport from Dresden to Taichung (Taiwan) and back will be provided at the conclusion of the training. Accommodation in Taiwan will be in one of TSMC’s modern company dormitories.
