Zusammenfassung

Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden is seeking a Process Engineer to drive data-driven improvements in the semiconductor manufacturing process. You will design experiments, analyze complex data, and implement robust SPC methods to achieve atomic-level precision and yield improvements.

The role involves collaboration with equipment and material suppliers, validation of process changes, and ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced, global context.

Qualifikationen

  • Legally eligible to work in Germany.
  • Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan for one year.
  • Degree in Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related technical field.
  • Fluent in English with good command of German.
  • Skills in numerical analysis, statistics, optics, chemistry, or physics.
  • Flexible, open mind-set to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and design is a plus.
  • Willing to work in a clean room environment.

Aufgaben

  • Designing and executing experiments, interpreting and extracting insightful results from complex data sets to optimize the manufacturing process and achieve precision control at atomic levels.
  • Applying statistical process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process.
  • Qualifying and sustaining manufacturing process to expand capacity with speed and quality.
  • Collaborating with equipment and material suppliers and partners to identify technology gaps and deficiencies; devise, evaluate and qualify mitigation and continuous improvement solutions.
  • Driving continuous improvements on process stability and capability, quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety.
  • Scheduled evening shifts, weekend on-duty, and on-call in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment are required for business needs.

As a Process Engineer, you are at the heart of the semiconductor manufacturing process. With deep technical knowhow you will use data driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills to establish, run and continuously improve the core manufacturing process.
