Job summary

Mercor seeks an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Expert for data centers. This contract role is remote with immediate start, requiring 2+ years delivering data centers through EPC or design-build models.

You will review design coordination, procurement data, and vendor packages, ensure interfaces align, and validate deliverables end to end, leveraging strong technical writing and a sharp eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years delivering data centers or complex capital projects through EPC/design-build/construction-management models.
• Roles include Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Design Manager, Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Commissioning Manager, Project Controls Lead, or Technical Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction interfaces.
• Able to interpret large document sets, specifications, drawings, schedules, equipment submittals, cost and constraint registers, and field records.
• Precise, detail-oriented, and able to explain technical issues clearly in writing.

• Check scope interfaces, technical requirements, schedule logic, and material constraints.
• Identify ambiguity, conflicting documents, missing constraints, or unrealistic deliverables.
• Improve task prompts, supporting artifacts, acceptance criteria, rubrics, and programmatic checks.
• Produce clear technical findings and validate corrected tasks end to end.

Compensation: $100226/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 522 hours/week
