We are working with a specialist data centre contractor delivering turnkey solutions across design, construction, connectivity and managed services for some of the world’s leading hyperscale and colocation operators.
Due to continued growth across Europe, they are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to support the delivery of mission‑critical data centre projects in Frankfurt.
This is a senior delivery role combining project leadership, client engagement and commercial oversight, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the delivery of MEP packages on large‑scale data centre projects from pre‑construction through to handover
- Acting as a key client interface, managing escalations and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Coordinating specialist subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure works are delivered safely and to specification
- Managing project planning, resource allocation and programme milestones
- Working closely with commercial teams to manage project costs, variations and financial performance
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Supporting bid and pre‑construction activities for new opportunities
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with company processes, safety standards and ISO requirements
- Providing regular project reporting to both internal leadership teams and client stakeholders
- Supporting commissioning and final project close‑out activities
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience delivering MEP packages within data centre or mission‑critical construction projects
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and specialist subcontractors
- Experience working directly with enterprise or hyperscale clients
- Solid commercial awareness including project budgeting, cost control and CVR reporting
- Strong understanding of safety, compliance and quality processes within construction environments
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent desirable
- SMSTS and CSCS accreditation preferred
