DocuWare is seeking an Enterprise Software Architect to shape the future of our enterprise application landscape. You will define standards, drive technology decisions, and ensure scalable, secure software solutions that support digital transformation across business units.

You will align architecture with strategic objectives, govern enterprise applications, and lead cross-functional teams while maintaining a future-ready technology stack and governance framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Extensive experience in enterprise software architecture and IT leadership.
• Experience designing architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Strong expertise in system integration, APIs, data architecture, security.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Influential communicator able to align stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in cross-functional environments; collaboration across teams.
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, or Azure are a plus.

• You define architecture principles, standards, and best practices for applications, integrations, and data flows across the organization.
• You evaluate, select, and design software solutions that are scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective.
• You review and govern solution architectures across enterprise applications, business systems, data platforms, and automation initiatives.
• You partner with business and technology stakeholders to drive digital transformation and ensure sustainable architectural decisions.
• You provide architectural guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
• You enable seamless integration between systems, processes, and data while fostering a consistent and future-ready technology landscape.
• You ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in all architecture decisions.
• You identify and assess emerging technologies and recommend innovations that create measurable business value.
• You drive architecture documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• You present architecture strategies, roadmaps, and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

What you need to succeed

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You bring extensive professional experience in enterprise software architecture, solution design, or IT leadership roles, ideally in complex, multi-system environments.
• You have successfully designed and implemented complex software architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• You possess strong expertise in system integration, APIs, data architecture, security, and modern software engineering practices.
• You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset and can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• You are an influential communicator who can engage and align stakeholders at all levels, from technical experts to senior executives.
• You thrive in cross-functional environments, build strong partnerships, and drive collaboration across teams.
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or comparable credentials are a plus.
