TOYOTA RACING in Köln sucht einen CFD-Simulationingenieur (m/w/d) mit Schwerpunkt 1D CFD-Simulationen zur Unterstützung der Fahrzeugentwicklung. Sie arbeiten an 0D/1D-Analysen, ICE-Performance-Entwicklung und real-time Modellen.

Sie bringen einen Masterabschluss in Engineering, Erfahrung in 0D/1D CFD und Kenntnisse in GTPower/MATLAB/Simulink, Catia V5, Cantera und Python mit. Englisch fließend; internationales Teamumfeld willkommen.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Experience with 0D/1D CFD simulations in vehicle development.
• Proficient with GTPower and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of e-fuels and hydrogen.
• Working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera and Python.
• Professional English communication.

Job description / Tasks:

• conduct 0D/1D CFD simulations, manly for ICE simulation and mating parts, for conventional and alternative-fuel power trains
• ICE Performance development and engine real time model development
• collaboration with universities and other leading external research institutions to drive state-of-the-art development and innovation
• strong emphasis on personal responsibility and self-directed work

The successful candidate will:

• hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
• have already basic experience 0D/1D CFD-Simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development
• be proficient with software tools as GTPower and MATLAB/Simulink
• have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e-fuels and hydrogen
• possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python
• be able to speak and write professional English
• show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture
• be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self-organized manner
