Job summary

Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Cologne is seeking an Engineer (m/f/d) CFD Simulation specializing in 1D CFD simulations to support vehicle development projects. You will contribute to ICE and future energy carrier research, collaborating with universities and external institutes.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in engineering, has 0D/1D CFD experience in automotive development, and is proficient with GTPower, MATLAB/Simulink, Catia V5, Cantera, and Python.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
• have already basic experience 0D/1D CFD-Simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development
• be proficient with software tools as GTPower and MATLAB/Simulink
• have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e-fuels and hydrogen
• possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python
• be able to speak and write professional English
• show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture
• be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self-organized manner
