Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Germany seeks a process management professional to model, maintain, and develop business processes in SmartProcess in line with standards. You will optimize automated workflows and assess interfaces, dependencies, and risks.

You will lead central document management for the business unit, advise managers on CIP initiatives, and facilitate workshops to generate and optimize processes, while establishing KPIs for control and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (e.g., state-certified technician) at DQR/EQR Level 6.
• Structured, meticulous and solution-oriented work style.
• Independent, ownership-driven approach to tasks.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the division and to plants.

Responsibilities:

• You will continue to model, maintain, and develop business processes in SmartProcess in compliance with standards
• You will develop, configure, and optimize automated workflows in SmartProcess
• You will analyze and evaluate process interfaces, process dependencies, and process risks
• You are responsible for the business unit’s central document management system
• You advise managers and process owners on improvement initiatives as part of the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• You lead and facilitate workshops on process generation and optimization
• You develop and establish key performance indicators for process management and control

Qualifications:

• You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship and hold an advanced qualification at DQR/EQR Level 6, such as a state-certified technician or a bachelor’s degree (e.g., in economics, business informatics, or industrial engineering)
• You work in a structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented manner
• You are accustomed to working independently and taking ownership of your tasks
• You are willing to travel regularly within the division, including visits to the plants under your supervision for process assessment, training, coordination, and audit support
• You have knowledge of BPMN or are willing to familiarize yourself with BPMN standards (BPMN 2.0)
• Preferably, you have experience in Lean Management, Operational Excellence, or ISO certification
• You have good written and spoken English skills
