Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Global Process Owner Accounting (f/m/d) to lead end-to-end accounting processes and drive global transformation. The role includes shaping future accounting workflows, partnering with Shared Service structures, and leveraging SAP S/4HANA to standardize across international operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Accounting processes and ability to shape future development.
• Proven leadership in driving transformation in complex environments.
• Excellent German (C1) and English (B2) communication skills, with willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience in Shared Service organizations or global process structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end global accounting processes and drive their ongoing development.
• Shape and transform global accounting structures in collaboration with shared service centers.
• Partner with finance, operations, and IT to implement process improvements and SAP S/4HANA enhancements.
• Coach and mentor teams, ensuring quality and consistency across regions.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a comparable qualification.
• Process Expertise: Strong understanding of end-to-end Accounting processes and a clear vision for their future development.
• Mindset: Passion for the future success of our company and enthusiasm for driving and shaping change.
• Leadership & Seniority: Proven experience, credibility, and the ability to make decisions and drive transformation in complex environments.
• Business & Technology Acumen: Strong business understanding combined with solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience: Experience in Shared Service organizations and/or global process structures is an advantage.
• Languages: Fluent German (minimum C1) and strong English skills (minimum B2), combined with a willingness to travel occasionally.
