Job summary

ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology sucht eine engagierte Fachkraft zur Entwicklung automatisierter Softwaretests für Hardware. Sie implementieren Testkonzepte, unterstützen interne Teams und externe Dienstleister, setzen moderne Testmethoden ein und erhöhen die Abdeckung der Tests in Embedded-Umgebungen.

Ihr Fokus liegt auf der End-to-End-Testautomation, Dokumentation und kontinuierlicher Optimierung der Testprozesse. Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind erwünscht.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium in Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Mechatronik oder vergleichbarem.
• Umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Entwicklung automatisierter hardware-bezogener Softwaretests.
• Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Softwaretests mit Python / pytest.
• Erfahrung mit Azure DevOps zur Integration von Tests in CI-Pipelines.
• Kenntnisse Testing-Frameworks zur Automatisierung von Funktionstests in Embedded Software.
• Starke Systemintegrations- und strukturierte Vorgehensweise.
• Gute Teamarbeitsfähigkeiten, hohe Eigenmotivation, Eigeninitiative.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Als Mitglied des Entwicklungsteams Implementieren und Validieren von Testkonzepten.
• Unterstützung interner Mitarbeiter und externer Dienstleister bei der Umsetzung von Testkonzepten.
• Erstellung automatisierter Systemtests mit modernen Ansätzen, z. B. HIL.
• Nutzen modernster Technologien zur Erhöhung der Testabdeckung von Softwaresystemen.
• Aufbau und Erweiterung von End-to-End-Testsystemen.
• Überwachung von Testläufen und automatisierte Erstellung von Testberichten.
• Dokumentation von Testverfahren und deren Optimierung.

Your role

• Create automated system tests using standard approaches, e.g., HIL

• Monitor test runs and automatically generate test reports




• Document test procedures and optimize them

Your profile

• You are highly motivated to explore new ideas and help ensure the success of electronic systems




• A technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or another STEM field with comparable professional experience




• Extensive experience in developing automated hardware-related software tests




• Experience in developing software tests using Python / pytest




• Experience with Azure DevOps for integrating tests into CI pipelines




• Experience using testing frameworks to automate functional tests in embedded software development is desired




• Strong skills in system integration and a systematic approach




• Good teamwork skills, high self-motivation, as well as strong initiative and independence




• Good command of German and English
