Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH seeks a tests engineer to design and validate automated hardware-related software tests. You will create automated system tests (e.g., HIL), expand end-to-end test systems, and monitor runs to generate reports.

Your profile

• A technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or another STEM field with comparable professional experience
• Extensive experience in developing automated hardware-related software tests
• Experience in developing software tests using Python / pytest
• Experience with Azure DevOps for integrating tests into CI pipelines
• Experience using testing frameworks to automate functional tests in embedded software development is desired
• Strong skills in system integration and a systematic approach
• Good teamwork skills, high self-motivation, as well as strong initiative and independence
• Good command of German and English
