ZEISS Group in Oberkochen seeks a Software Developer (m/f/x) to join our assembly processes software team. You will develop, maintain and support complex applications that control our assembly workflows in an agile environment.

You have a university degree in CS/EE, several years of experience with C# and .NET for industrial machinery, and strong skills in Visual Studio, Git and Azure DevOps. Proficiency in German and English is required; collaboration across cross functional teams is essential.

Formación

• University degree in CS/EE or similar with solid physics understanding (preferred).
• Several years of professional experience in object-oriented software development using C# and .NET for industrial machinery applications.
• Strong knowledge of Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of an agile software development team in the field of assembly processes.
• Implement complex assembly workflows in close coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Further develop and restructure software solutions within the Scrum team.
• Design and implement software architectures based on the requirements of different user groups and projects.
• Provide technical support to the Product Owner in analyzing processes, gathering requirements and estimating implementation efforts.
• Transition developed software into operation, conduct acceptance tests and ensure ongoing support.

For our software development team for assembly processes within Module Integration Software, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/x) to further develop, maintain and support complex applications used to control our assembly processes.

Your Role

• Work as part of an agile software development team in the field of assembly processes
• Implement complex assembly workflows in close coordination with our internal stakeholders
• Further develop and restructure software solutions collaboratively within the Scrum team
• Design and implement software architectures based on the requirements of different user groups and projects
• Provide technical support to the Product Owner in analyzing processes, gathering requirements and estimating implementation efforts

Your Profile

• Successfully completed university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline, ideally combined with a solid fundamental understanding of physics
• Several years of professional experience and excellent knowledge of object-oriented software development using C# and .NET for industrial machinery applications
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving mindset
• A high level of initiative and strong teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment, combined with clear and effective communication
• Expertise in developing complex software systems and a strong understanding of software architectures and design patterns
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, version control using Git and CI/CD with Azure DevOps
• Good written and spoken German and English
