Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a software engineer/architect to develop control software for next-generation lithography systems. You will implement embedded control on bare metal and embedded Linux, contribute to software architecture, and build test infrastructure in an agile team of experts.

Ideal candidates have engineering or physics backgrounds, proven professional C and real-time Linux experience, and Python-based test automation.

Qualifications

• Studies in Engineering, Control Systems, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
• Proven experience as a software developer or architect in a professional software development environment for bare metal controllers, RTOS or similar machine-oriented applications.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Optionally: FPGA’s or VHDL.
• Clear, precise communication and passion to solve complex challenges independently and in a team.
• Good English and optionally German language.

• optionally: you have experience with FPGA’s or VHDL
