Optimus Search is seeking an Electronics/Mechatronics Technician to join a leading international manufacturing group in Berlin. You will work with highly automated production systems, assemble and install electrical components, and diagnose faults across production equipment.

Requirements include an apprenticeship in Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician, plus Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLC experience. Fluency in German and good English are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
• Experience with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs
• Good understanding of automation technology and electrical schematics

Aufgaben

• Assemble, wire and install mechanical and electrical components
• Test, analyse and troubleshoot electrical systems and production equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and safety inspections
• Install, commission and maintain industrial machinery and electrical installations
• Create and update electrical schematics using WSCAD
• Work with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLC controlled systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and quality assurance activities
• Document completed work within shift reports
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of production equipment and electrical systems

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire and install mechanical and electrical components
• Test, analyse and troubleshoot electrical systems and production equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, functional testing and safety inspections
• Install, commission and maintain industrial machinery and electrical installations
• Create and update electrical schematics using WSCAD
• Work with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLC controlled systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and quality assurance activities
• Document completed work within shift reports
• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of production equipment and electrical systems

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship as an Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent
• Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience working with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs
• Good understanding of automation technology, drive systems, building services and electrical schematics
• Experience working with metal detection systems is advantageous
• Very good German and good English
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working a 3-shift pattern with occasional weekend work
