Job summary

persona service AG & Co. KG is seeking a skilled mechatronics technician to assemble and install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on site.

You will program, configure, and commission PLC-based control systems such as Siemens S7, and ensure optimal operation through maintenance and troubleshooting. Ideal candidates have an apprenticeship in mechatronics, electronics for industrial engineering, or industrial electrical trades, plus PLC experience and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d), or industrial electrician (m/f/d).
• Experience with PLC systems, e.g., Siemens S7, is advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering and control systems.
• Basic command of spoken German.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies per specifications.
• Program and configure control systems (PLCs), e.g., Siemens S7.
• Commission machines and check operation; maintain and service technical systems.
• Diagnose faults and implement prompt remedies; optimize plant and processes.
• Produce documentation and test reports of the work performed.

Job description

You will assemble and install mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies in accordance with specifications You will programme and configure control systems (PLCs), for example based on Siemens S7 You commission machines and plant and check that they are functioning correctly As part of maintenance, inspection and servicing, you ensure that technical systems are kept in good working order In the event of faults, you analyse the causes, diagnose errors and rectify them promptly You optimise existing plant and processes to improve workflows and reduce downtime You liaise with related departments on technical issues and procedures You produce documentation and test reports on the work you have carried out You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d) or an industrial electrician (m/f/d) Experience with PLC systems, e.g. Siemens S7, would be an advantage You have a sound knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering and control systems You are characterised by analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level) You are willing to work shifts You work independently and take a structured approach to your tasks You demonstrate teamwork and strong communication skills in your day-to-day work A Class B driving licence is an advantage A valid work permit rounds off your profile On-the-job training Long-term assignment Good availability Pay above the standard rate
