As an Electrical Technician / Mechatronics Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and optimising electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations. You bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and connect mechanical and electrical components and equipment
• Perform inspections, testing, and analysis of electrical systems and functions
• Detect and correct malfunctions, carrying out safety checks and quality assurance measures
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and operational activities in shift reports
• Handle installation, commissioning, and servicing of electrical machinery and infrastructure
• Evaluate electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Design and modify electrical schematics using WSCAD or similar CAD software
• Work with PLC systems (such as S7/TIA Portal) for automation and control applications
• Maintain and verify overall electrical safety of plant and equipment

Qualifications

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar discipline
• Prior hands‑on experience in a related technical or maintenance role
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts and occasionally on weekends
• Fluent in German, with good command of English
• Strong understanding of drive technology, building systems, and automation processes
• Confident in reading circuit diagrams and using diagnostic tools such as metal detectors
