Zusammenfassung

OSM Thome seeks an Electrician to oversee electrical and electronic systems on cement carrier vessels worldwide. You will be responsible for safe operation and reliable performance of all electrical equipment, supporting smooth vessel operations.

Minimumsea experience as Electrician/ETO with STCW certificates and medical fitness is required. Strong knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems and good English communication are essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Electrician/ETO at sea, preferably on cement carriers.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and fault-find independently.

Join OSM Thome as an Electrician (ELEC) on a cement carrier trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting smooth vessel operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair electrical equipment, switchboards, and power distribution systems


• Carry out troubleshooting on motors, generators, lighting, and automation systems


• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on all electrical installations


• Support the operation and maintenance of cement cargo discharge and conveying systems


• Ensure all work is done safely and in line with company and vessel procedures

Requirements:

• Previous sea experience as Electrician / ETO, preferably on cement carriers


• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness


• Good knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems


• Ability to read electrical drawings and perform fault-finding independently


• Good English communication skills and a strong safety mindset
