RTS Wind AG in Germany is seeking an Electrical Service Technician (m/f/d) for wind turbines starting in 2027. You will perform service, maintenance and inspections according to manuals and safety standards, with a focus on reliability and energy transition.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in the maintenance, servicing or repair of wind turbines.
• Valid GWO standard training courses.
• Enercon Major Maintenance ISP Training.
• Annual Training for Switching Authorisation for MV Transformers ISP.

Responsabilités

• Perform service, maintenance and inspection work on wind turbines in accordance with service manuals, work instructions and technical specifications
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical tests, as well as monitoring and inspecting components such as generators, switchboards, transformers, earthing systems and safety devices
• Conduct minor repairs and fault rectification independently, as well as implementing retrofits and technical upgrades
• Switching wind turbines and transformers to maintenance mode and ensuring their safe recommissioning once work has been completed
• Communication with operators, site managers and the service office through daily check-ins and check-outs, as well as providing prompt feedback in the event of faults, delays or deviations from the order schedule
• Ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety, and HSE requirements, as well as maintaining assigned vehicles, tools and personal protective equipment

Tasks
